In most cases, I feel nothing is coincidental, and I often try to figure out the reason why something has come into my life.
Over the weekend, I read a disturbing book called, Missoula. This was a considerable departure from the positive, uplifting books I usually read. It is the real account of campus rapes in a college town by members of the football team.
This book put me in a foul mood and I was beginning to be unsure why I continued to read.
Then the trial began and the accounts of women who did not want to testify. It was terrifying and heart wrenching for them, but they wanted to prevent this from happening to anyone else. This was the key to my question.
What I do is thankfully a long way from what these women have been through, but it reminded me that all women should feel powerful and strong and can stand up for what you believe in.
That woman should support one another and help to lift each other up. It reminded me of my real passion for showing you how to feel strong, focused and clearly move toward the life you imagine for yourself.
In some strange way, it reminded me that I was on the right path and to keep going.
